It was Wednesday last week. 5AM rolled around…the next thing we knew, we were on our HOP bus and we were off to Katherine. On a big empty road with a 130km/hour speed limit (only in the NT I think), we drove down to the neighboring town of Katherine. Super exciting as we crossed the bridge and parked in the shopping centre and saw our red windows with the words : Need Disability Individualised Support?

It’s 9AM and it’s finally time to gather. Some opening speeches from our crew, and snip snip! The doors are open!

We’d like to say thank you to everyone who came and attended the opening. Our participants, coworkers, friends, family and fellow stakeholders.
Our branch in Katherine accommodates a range of services for NDIS participants. From support coordination, plan management to care services. We are grateful that we’re allowed to be a part of the community, and we now feel like we have the privilege to connect a lot closer with people that we meet here. If you are in Katherine, don’t forget to drop in to say hi! Our address is Shop 2, Oasis Shopping Centre, Katherine Terrace. Basically next to Katherine Woolies.
11AM we were double excited because now the mob is heading to the next street which is The Inclusion Centre – Katherine!

The Inclusion Centre Katherine aims to be the hub of exciting activities, gathering, and workshops. We are working on very exciting programmes to do especially now that the dry season is coming up, but hey, we would like to hear from you too! Think of it as a place where you can explore your new or existing interests, knowledge and hobbies! Contact our Team Leader Andrea : [email protected] and give us your input!

if you or someone you know needs disability support in Katherine, our doors are open. See you there 🙂
