Hands On People (HOP), began our journey in the Territory 3 years ago with a mission to support all people with disabilities and the elderly to lead an independent life, and to get connected to the community.
We have moved from our previous office location in Coconut Grove to new office space at 2/35 Miles Road in Berrimah. The organisation, led by Sajesh Paul (Managing Director), have grown fast in the Territory with a branch in Alice Springs within a short span of time with community support and engagement. This has enabled the organisation to expand its opportunities for people with disabilities and their needs for social and community participation. The Inclusion Centre by Hands On People is a space created to provide life-skills learning programs, sensory space activities, crafting, development in effective communication and social interaction skill, and much more.
The grand opening of the new office was held on 29th June by Her Honour the Honourable Vicki O’Halloran at 10 am along with Hands On People staff and participants at 2/35 Miles Road, Berrimah NT. Check out the beautiful moments we had on our Grand Opening Day here!
