Last week we commenced a regular monthly activity plan for our participants that reside in our SIL and accommodation houses. We arranged for morning tea, a bit of gardening, and socializing with one another. Thanks to the participants that have come out and join, looking forward to do something different every month! We aim for meaningful community participation, skill-building and enhancing each other’s wellbeing.

Planting a seed

Sharing Is Caring

Each person gets a seed which then gets planted into a recycled bottle with holes underneath for drainage. It feels good to know that we are able to nurture a life out of seeds, and hopefully one day we can exchange each other’s bountiful harvests. Gardening is so simple yet rewarding.

Thanks everyone!
Our Team Leader Taralika did a good job coordinating – Thanks everyone!

We notice a lot of cool and breezy days in Darwin, so we’d maximize the opportunity to go outside and enjoy lots of fresh air. That being said, indoor based activities like going to the movies, Casuarina Mall or Museums will also be anticipated. We would like to hear from you though. What activity do you think we should try?
